How do I manage user roles and permissions for my workspace?

Answer: Go to Settings → User Management → Roles & Permissions. You can create roles using Spate's permission system and assign granular permissions (view, create, update, delete) per module (projects, tasks, clients, etc.).

Accessing Role Management:

  1. Navigate to Settings → User Management
  2. Click on Roles & Permissions
  3. Create or edit existing roles
  4. Assign specific permissions to each role

Available Permissions:

  • Projects: view, create, update, delete
  • Tasks: view, create, update, delete, assign
  • Clients: view, create, update, delete
  • Users: view, create, update, delete
  • Reports: view, export
  • Settings: view, update

Role Types:

  • Admin: Full system access
  • Manager: Project and team management
  • Member: Task management within assigned projects
  • Viewer: Read-only access
