How do I manage user roles and permissions for my workspace?
Answer: Go to Settings → User Management → Roles & Permissions. You can create roles using Spate's permission system and assign granular permissions (view, create, update, delete) per module (projects, tasks, clients, etc.).
Accessing Role Management:
- Navigate to Settings → User Management
- Click on Roles & Permissions
- Create or edit existing roles
- Assign specific permissions to each role
Available Permissions:
- Projects: view, create, update, delete
- Tasks: view, create, update, delete, assign
- Clients: view, create, update, delete
- Users: view, create, update, delete
- Reports: view, export
- Settings: view, update
Role Types:
- Admin: Full system access
- Manager: Project and team management
- Member: Task management within assigned projects
- Viewer: Read-only access
