The Settings section in Taskify is where administrators and authorized users can configure system-wide preferences, manage organization details, and control application behavior. Properly setting up this area ensures Taskify runs smoothly and aligns with your organizationβs workflows.
π Accessing Settings
Log in to your Taskify account with Admin credentials.
From the sidebar menu, click on Settings.
You will see multiple tabs/categories to manage different aspects of the system.
π Key Settings Categories
1. General Settings
Company Name β The official name of your organization.
Company Email β Used for system notifications and client communication.
Company Logo & Favicon β Upload branding assets for a personalized look.
Default Timezone β Ensure all tasks, projects, and timesheets follow your correct timezone.
Date Format & Time Format β Choose between formats (e.g.,
dd-mm-yyyyormm-dd-yyyy).
2. Localization & Language
Default Language β Select the primary language for your system.
Available Languages β Enable or disable additional languages if multi-language support is active.
3. Email Settings
Configure your SMTP or Mail Driver for outgoing system emails.
Fields include:
SMTP Host
Port
Username
Password
Encryption (
SSL/TLS)
4. Notification Settings
Enable/Disable email and system notifications for key events like:
Project creation
Task assignment
Leave approval/rejection
Comment mentions
Configure who receives which notifications.
5. Currency & Billing
Set the default currency (e.g., USD, EUR, INR).
Define the currency symbol position (before/after the amount).
Manage billing settings for projects and tasks.
6. File & Media Settings
Allowed File Types β Restrict uploads to safe formats (PDF, DOCX, PNG, JPG, etc.).
Max File Upload Size β Define per file limit (e.g., 10MB).
Storage Disk β Choose between
localorpublicstorage for uploaded files.
7. System Settings
Enable/Disable Cron Jobs for scheduled tasks.
Configure symlink settings to ensure file uploads (media, attachments) work correctly.
System Maintenance Mode β Put the system into maintenance for upgrades.
